8 hours into it we decided to drop the pan (which Lee told us to do in the first place) and we found the culprit- a clogged oil pickup.The rest of the weekend went as smooth as we could expect it to, and Sam had a great time getting acquainted with the new car. We had a lot of work to do, as we were 4 seconds off the pace, but we accomplished what we came for, and finished in one piece and with healthy championship points.
