What started it all was the apparel.  The year was 1997 and street racing was emerging as a subversive, underground sub-culture comprised of youth-- a far cry from the legitimized and sanctioned events of today.  Living this life we saw an opportunity to help shape and define this fledgling sub-culture by creating apparel and then branching out into other projects.  In November 1997, Autocannon was born.

From its inception, Autocannon designed, produced and distributed apparel products under the banners of Shift Gear Racing (SGR), Racerette, and Speed Sports which sold everywhere from performance shops to apparel boutiques.  From the street to the track, we have stayed true to the enthusiast.  As a company, our passion is motorsports.  The inspiration, perseverance, and goal driven attitude taken from the crucible of man and machine that is racing, is embedded in every product we produce.

We have consolidated our efforts under the Autocannon Brand by taking all that we have learned of the past 11 years in business to create a brand and a cause to unify all motorsports and gear-heads world-wide!
